Lions and Tigers and Bears... Oh My!
Ark on Wheels is intended as outreach and evangelism as well as a tool to help and support the programs of congregations. The animals of Ark on Wheels have come to the Goeken-Miles Foundation in unusual ways and have unusual qualities which make them extra special.
We can not only use these animals to teach children and adults about loving others, but we can also teach and show how God loves us and uses our differences to make the world a better place.
Animals have a God given gift to accept and love people and to teach people to love in a different way that other people are not often able to achieve.
Children are told about each animal and hear a Bible story which relates to the animal in some way. The children are also given a chance to pet the animals and ask questions.
Some of the animals in the ministry include:
Moses, the Llama
Angel, the miniature donkey
Samson & Delilah, the zebus
Joseph, the zedonkey
King Solomon, the zebra
